About
Noor Lehulu β "light for all" (αα ααα) β is a non-profit research, development, education and training center. It was established under the Ethiopian Islamic Affairs Supreme Council (Mejlis), per Proclamation No. 1207/2012.
Our headquarters are in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, with regional offices across the country and diaspora coordinators abroad.
Vision & Mission
By 2050, to see a community whose educational, social, economic, cultural and religious challenges have been resolved β a community actively engaged in every sector and shaped by sound thinking and good ethics.
To raise our community's participation in education, technology, and economic, social and cultural life, so it plays a leading role in Ethiopia's holistic development β as a non-profit organization.
Objectives
Seven aims set out in our bylaw.
- 1 Conduct and facilitate research, studies and discussion that advance the community's educational, economic, social and cultural development β and Ethiopia's sustainable development.
- 2 Turn constructive research findings into planned action together with the relevant bodies.
- 3 Provide training and support, give advice, and develop and share skills and experience.
- 4 Research and help cultivate the country's positive values.
- 5 Work in coordination with government and national and international partners on joint research for sustainable development.
- 6 Run workshops, seminars, conferences, trainings and meetings to build community capacity and awareness.
- 7 Integrate knowledge and resources to build a society advanced in education, research and technology.
